Gust's Ar Tonelico III has been revealed/announced; Namco Bandai will release it in January, 2010.

Ar Tonelico is one of the best PS2 games I played. It didn't do much new, but had entertaining characters, a fun battle system, and a unique magic-crafting system. (And lots of innuendo.) I haven't played the much of the second one yet (been hopelessly hooked on Mana Khemia, also from Gust), but what I have played showed better presentation, a more active battle system, and better voice acting.

I've never played Ar Tonelico before but it sounds like it's a good game; I've seen it on the shelves a few times but never bought it. Too bad I don't have a PS2 anymore and I'm also at my dorm (which is without a console ).

The trailer was quite good, the music was quite epic.

And I suppose they are anime cut-scenes?

Would probably be more interested if I had a PS3... I don't even have my Xbox in my dorm room.
