Not anything spectacular, but its one of my recent addictions. And the irony was just delicious(see text, no i did not plan this, it just happened):



If you want the logo to be bigger, I can find a another spot for it...and for any of you who have no idea what Minions is:

I think the "Minions" text could blend in more seamlessly with the rest of the banner. It seems like it was slapped on for no reason.

And, nobody knows what Minions is...

I can't see why Duck would put this up.

I put a link to it in my post, so you guys know what it is, and maybe if he put a link to it when he puts the banner up, then it would make sense...and besides, a Minions banner is better than just a logo right?

I just think Minions is too obscure, to be honest. No offense meant, I assure you.

Oh, none taken at all. I made that in about 3 minutes(240 seconds):

Screen-shot: 120 seconds
Adding text: 40 seconds
Adding duck logo: 60 seconds
Drop shadows and what-not: 20 seconds
One banner that won't make it: Priceless

Oh, yeah, that was a slip of my mind.

I'm not that young.

I was just more of a Street Fighter II guy.

Don't forget that Madworld is less than 2 weeks away!

This one actually took a little more time since I had to create the signpost myself, requiring a lot of patience since I'm so picky. I'm still not sure whether I should keep the logo in the middle, because otherwise it looks a bit bare. Any suggestions?

That's actually really well executed. Although maybe if you want to move the logo somewhere else, change the background. Maybe pull a scene from the screenshots to place there.

I'll consider it. The logo and the background weren't very time consuming anyways. And by logo, you mean the MadWorld logo, right?

UPDATE: Here's the new image. I think it's a lot better.

That is much better. The background gives it better depth while blending in nicely with everything else. Nice one.

The duck and the sign are kinda... Lumpy. Do you think you could touch that up a bit?

Alright, but I kind of did that on purpose to make it look less tacked-on. Without the distortion it looks too sterile.

Well, street signs do kinda look tacked-on even in real life, too. After all, they're meant to stand out, right?

I see what you mean. I will try experimenting some more. I have downloaded a bazillion plug-ins for Paint.net and I have used about 5% of them to a good degree.
