Want to try your hand at making a banner for One Duck's Opinion? Well, now's your chance! Here's what you gotta do:

Simply whip up a 760 by 300 banner, upload it to a website like Photobucket, and link to it or post it here!

Just make sure it's EXACTLY 760 pixels wide, and no more than 300 pixels tall (Less is fine). Include the blog name and something related to the site, and that's it! I'll download any banners that I like and use them sometime in the future.

So then, I hope to see some artwork soon!

I think I made something similar quite some time ago, but I guess the duck never accepted it (it wasn't that good anyways). I think Ima make a better one, my skillz have gotten better.

I went for a simple approach. Colours and background can be negotiated upon:

Yes that's what I meant, but I like my way better, so... boot to the head.
Also you banner has the Spiderman 3 font on it

lmao, BTTH is awesome.

And about the Spiderman font: Yea I know. I've always like the Spiderman font (even before Sony decided to use it for the PS3).

Well, the faces are kinda running off the edge of the banner, you know? With some resizing a repositioning, it could be great.

You should also gradient blur the edges of duck or put a border on it, it looks kinda out of place to me...

Well, I am new to this sorta thing but here is my submission. I quickly threw it together for the site. Hope you like it. Yes it is basic but I am new

Nice. But is it just me or does Mario's legs look like they're in really awkward positions?

Oh and nice fire effect, but Mario loks like he needs some anti-aliasing works around some places.

Yea, just downloaded GIMP a few days ago. Trying to get the hang of it. tho I'm hopeless atm, I'm hoping to get better.

Yea, I use to use GIMP as well. But I found it unnecessarily difficult for some reason, and eventually I went back to PDN.

Much more simplier. For me, anyway.
