I don't want to steal Duck's thunder if he was planning on posting similer articals but I had a good idea for one and I thought I'd post it. Oh and I don't plan on having articles on a regular basis or anything.
ARTICLE #1 - Pokemon Oddities:
Duck got me thinking on pokemon with this weeks banner and article and I thought of some wierd things in pokemon games:
Big houses: (I know that Duck already posted this one but it's a pokemon oddity so I'm gonna post it again)
Your walking through a town and you enter a building that on the outside looks to be about 2 spaces deep and 3 spaces wide, (eg:PokeCenter) and once your inside, it's at least 5 deep and 7 wide!
Walk right in:
I've always wondered whether its a Japanese thing or what, but in Pokemon you can just cruise right into anybodies house you want to and nobody cares.
Lame house:
So you walk into some guys HOUSE and in it has a table two chairs and a window....that's it....that isn't a house it's a PRISON!! Also in comparison to the characters size, the house is like 8ft square....he barely has room to lie down! Speaking of which, wheres the bed....and the fridge....and the toilet....man this house is WORSE than a prison!
Just waiting on you:
So your off exploring a cave and there are like 10 guys in the cave just standing there....doing nothing, don't these people have anything better to do than stand around waiting to ambush you. Then on top of all that, why do they still stay there when you beat them...I mean once you lose all your pokemon then you get magicly teleported to a PokeCenter (another oddity) but when they lose they just stand there like nothing happened.
TRAINER white-out?:
So when all of your pokemon faint then why does the TRAINER white-out? I mean does the trainer have some kind of spiritual link to the pokemon so that when they are all fainted then the trainer goes down too? On a side note on the topic of whiting out, why did they change it? Up untill recently it was always "(Insert name here) blacked out!" now it's "(Insert name here) whited out!."
Resetting rocks:
If you use strengh to move a boullder around then go into then out of a building, it will be where it was befor eyou moved it....it there hidden bowling pin strings in the sky?
