Me: I know, I've heard. It kills men and women's interest alike for browsing forums, and chatting with friends. If he were here, he'd consume you all with a laziness so deep, you'd transform into a motionless log. I AM NintenDood, and I see a whole forum before me in defiance of laziness. You have come to post as gaming nerds, and gaming nerds you are! What would you do without games? WILL YOU POST?!

Random Guy: "No, post in a forum? We would rather stay in our basements all day, and play Polybius until our brains melted out of our ears!

Me: Aye, stay still, and you may have fun for but a moment. And thinking back on all your years of basement dwelling, would you be willing to trade all of those days for one chance, just one chance to post in these forums and tell everyone we are not just "Geeks, nerds, and otakus", and that WE WILL RESURRECT ONE DUCK'S OPINION'S FORUMS!

So... this all stemmed from this Twitter post from the PsychoDuck himself:
"My forum used to be so awesome and full of fun-filled awesome. Oh, the good old days..."

You know what this means? WE must drop our shackles of laziness, and WE MUST POST!

I had a feeling someone would catch on to that message... The thought occurred to me while reading through this old thread. It's going to be kinda hard to get this place back like the old days without an active site attached to it...

...guess I gotta get back to work soon!

I think it should be seen more as squeaky plastic heart surgery.

Sorry, I got caught up in the epic speech thing.

But it is true Duck, the only way this forum is going to be mildly successful is dependent on you. In particular, your blog which is the main thing that'll bring in new users.

All this talk about the forum reminds of the first days of the forum, where it literally boomed in posts.

It appears there is a tiny spark in this dark cave. Is it possible that the active forum of old shall returneth?

Is there a light at the end of the cold dark tunnel? NintenDood, I think you have returned the forum back onto it's road of restoration. We had lost our way, and it took one of Duck's tweets and NintenDood's post for us to see sense again.

So it's me who totally put you guys back on the path of posting-ination? Sweet, I can get behind that

Awesome, but I too have had a major writer's block for the last few weeks, and need to pump out some reviews before Thursday (I'm going on a trip). Any tips on how to start writing again quickly and easily?

Maybe you should try a different style of writing on the blog? (For now)

Perhaps by make each article more like a twitter post, yet not so small.

Minimize your work effort, but you get to keep the blog active until your ready to write more.

That could work, although I find it frustrating when writing posts on my blog that they seem so short. The best way I've found is to find the correct mood where you actually want to write.

I've got a few solid ideas for articles right now, but the problem is finding the time to write. My sister's in Chicago right now, so all the extra chores are going to be falling on me

If you're determined enough, I'm sure you'll find time to churn out some articles.

Okay, yeah, about the revival... I just got over a cold (Literally "just", as in about an hour ago), so expect to see something... Oh... THIS WEEK. There, I said it. This week, stuff will happen. I'd probably have gotten writing a week or two ago, but I've been incredibly busy. Chores, Fan Expo 2009, the Canadian National Exhibition... More chores...
