Man, Microsoft had a great conference, but the announcement of FFXIII coming to the 360 was a shocker. Even though SE didn't completely ditch Sony like they did with Nintendo, this is still gonna hurt the PS3. Now Final Fantasy fans that don't have a PS3 can just get it for the Xbox 360 since it's a cheaper system. Any thoughts?

This is a big blow to Sony; and it seems that Microsoft seem to be going from strength to strength on this exclusive thing.

It would've been okay if it was just a spinoff title, but Sony losing exclusivity to the next entry into a huge series kind of damages their hopes of catching up to Microsoft. Hopefully Sony has some exclusives up their sleeves to make up for this loss. It's like Nintendo losing exclusive rights to one of their big franchises.

It is, Final Fantasy has always been a Playstation game. The main series anywayz.

It's gotten much harder to justify paying for the hefty pricetag of the PS3.

I'm a PS3 owner, and that hurt a lot, but look on the bright side. It's only releasing on 360 in the US and Europe (I think), and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (Action-RPG from the creator of Kingdom Hearts) is still PS3 exclusive, and IMO, it looks like more fun than FFXIII (But I'm still buying it ^_^).

As far as I know, the 360 version of FFXIII is not coming out in Japan (not sure about other regions though). Personally I prefer action RPGs too (I love the KH series).
