*looks around*
...I wasn't really planning on buying Little Big Planet. The two reasons I bought the console were
1) help friend out (he needed money); and
2) it was a 60GB, PS2 compatible for $300. Heavenly Sword aside, it's probably going to be a $300 upscaling PS2 for a good while
And while it doesn't fully stretch PS2 games to
fullscreen (atleast 4:3 ratio ones), Ar Tonelico (2D RPG) does look
good, if (very) slightly blurry. Not pixelated (slightly blurry though), colors seem more vibrant. It's the only PS2 game I've played in it though.
(and it'll probably be used for Blu-Ray when ADV starts throwing out Blu-Ray anime)
All that aside, I played the Uncharted demo and kinda yawned my way through it; they emphasize what seem to be mediocre gunfights in the demo, when they should have thrown more platforming/adventure gameplay. Trying to find my way around environment/ledges was kinda fun, but the demo only offers about 2 such moments. I thought about picking up Lair today since I saw it was $30 new, but my friend who works at Game Crazy said it's
still not worth it. Little Big Planet looks good, but I'm not overly interested in what people seem to go ga-ga over (build-a-stage, online stage sharing/play, etc). So, I suppose no games shall sit beside Heavenly Sword for a while. (Though I may pick up Folklore if I can find it at a Game Crazy/Stop used... Target has it for $42, but can't trade in PSP at Target)
I need to finish Ar Tonelico anyways.
Then I can pray for localization of the second.
