Not sure which console to buy?

To be honest, I prefer playing on consoles more than on the PC. For numerous reasons:

My TV is larger than my VDU
No installation required for consoles (although I heard MS were putting in some scheme to take away installation a while ago... no idea where that went)
It's expensive to keep up with current hardware on PCs whereas on consoles, you buy one thing and occasionally some accessories if need be and you're done!
I get to sit on the couch :D
Playing with friends is always better; especially when you're throwing the beat-down on them.

That's how I look at it. :P

WJUK, you can't play Wii sitting down, man, this is Wii we're talking about. Yes, 360 and PS3 are there, , but withGuitar Hero, you have to play standing up. But yes, that is hilarioous.

I don't play Wiitar Hero sitting down but games like Twilight Princess, SMG, Endless Ocean etc. I do. Simply because I play games for fun, relaxation and enjoyment. And it's not too relaxing playing while standing up.

And yes, it is very funny.

[marq=down] :D [/marq]

Btw, I love the new look and feel of the posting screen. And the marquee settings are fun!

I heard that with the Halo 2 PC release, while Vista-only, you can start playing immediately (I think it installs while you play).

That aside, I'll stick with my Wii, 360, and PS2 for now; still not interested in the PS3 though (don't think MGS4 will change my mind, and lost interest in main Final Fantasy series after FFX). Only real PC game I'm interested in is Crysis, and perhaps I'll get to play it someday if I ever get around to dual-booting Windows on my iMac.

Crysis is awesome!

Although to be honest, the demo of FarCry2 was way more awesome...

Halo 3 is an excellent game to play on xbox live. Massive replayability. Whenever I have the chance I hope on live and "pwn some n00bz" :D

Halo 2 is best in a system-link LAN with 10 TVs and xboxes 16 player. Seriously i did that once. It was awesome.

Halo games have always been the pinnacle of multiplayer gaming for me.

And LAN parties are the most fun ever!

Yeah, I loves me some Halozz

We had a set up at a friends. 16 friends came round, people brought Tvs and xboxes. So we had like 10 TVs and xboxes in the same room (getting hot though :P). It was my best gaming experience :D

Get this: I managed to get 16 and a half GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education) -with 13 and a half As/A*s!- despite not revising for any test and lacking sleep for most of them. 8)

I have the evidence too. On my blog somewhere I scanned the certificates and documentation.

I hate people like you. I mean sure, I'm smart and in the top 5% of the country at my level overall, but still I have to work (study for a few weeks :P) for that.

My friends hate me for that too (not in a literal kind of way). I somehow cruise through most stuff but I still get good grades, college however seems totally different. A lot harder...
