Cheaper? Nah. Taxes are skyhigh here. It's almost 100€ in most stores. And since I always buy online, it's easily over 100€.

Stupid "welfare state" making my games expensive..

YAY!!!! I went to a midnight launch for brawl, had a tourney at gamestop, but I didn't get the game (it's in the mail from best buy, since I had a gift card.)

Get this: at gamestop, you don't get any practice, you don't get to choose your character, you can't choose stages, they have 1 minute duels with items on, and you have to use Wiimote only! (wiimote only=suckage) (talk about anti tourney!!) they set up the tourney in the in-game tournament mode, but they just left the characters set on random. I got to be Diddy Kong, but I still lost because the person I was playing against was using the nunchuk.
Gamecube =(?) classic > Nunchuck > Wiimote

also, don't button-mash with squirtle, you will water slide off the edge.
Hopefully I will get the game tommorrow!

That's sounds... kinda crappy. And I think the GC controller beats out the Classic purely because we're so familiar with it already. And wtf? You played with Wiimote while someone used the Nunchuk? That's hardly fair!

It turned out the same way all night. Who's using nunchuk? you win. Even DEDEDE(!) won, probably won because he was using nunchuk.

So, I just finished playing Brawl for about 3 1/2 hours straight, and really, I feel it's

(WJUK DON'T CLICK THIS)
[spoil]the best freaking thing ever. I absolutely love this game! I played several multi-main Brawls and 26% of the Subspace Emissary, and I need more! I decided to stop because I lost in the story mode. That's usually how far I play in a new game in the first run.

Anywho, here's my character rating so far:

Pokemon Trainer: Awesome
Lucas: Meh, he's okay
Ike: I've barely played as him so far, but he's not bad.
Zero Suit Samus: HOLY CRAP SHE'S AWESOME!!! So freaking faaaaaast!!!!
Olimar: Pretty sweet, from my limited play time with him
Meta Knight: Same as Olimar
Pit: Really cool.
Marth: Pretty sweet. Little slow.

If I'm forgetting anybody, it's due to the rapid barrage of awesome I just witnessed. Best Wii game yet.[/spoil]
