@kalava: from my limited playtime, HE'S AWESOME!! I had the dragoon fired at me twice, and both times I dodged it!! He's over here! He's over there! Now he's down ther...oh. YAY!!!!
I beat someone with his final smash, too!!

I was third too, Ryan. After I got there, tonnes of people came pouring in. I got there just in time

As for Diddy, he's pretty cool. His peanut popgun is pretty sweet. As for further unlocked characters:

[spoil]Lucario: I've only played as him once, so I can't judge. Looks promising, though.
Ness: Same as always
Captain Falcon: Ditto
Falco: A nice improvement from the Melee version. Feels different from Fox significantly.
Marth: Same as always

That's as far as I've gotten... I've seen Ganondorf, but I haven't unlocked him. And I've kinda seen R.O.B, if you count all the R.O.B Sentries and junk.[/spoil]

So yeah, wicked game so far. 5 1/2 hours in, loving every second.

EDIT: I've had the Dragoon fired at me twice, only hit once. Also, I played a 10 stock match, and got 9 Final Smashes as Samus against my brother-in-law as Zelda/Shiek.

Just to recap my past few days. Went to Gamestop at ten for the tournament (2 minutes, items, random stages, random characters, and Wiimote/nunchuk) lost in the 2nd round to some whiny kid who lost in the next round and cried. (I was pit, really hard to master, he was Zelda/Sheik. We went to sudden death, since I couldn't hit him, we were in New Pork City, he killed me with a dash attack which I tried to dodge with B, not Z. So, got home at midnight, unlocked [spoil]Falco with the 100- man brawl[/spoil] Went to sleep, woke up at 9:00, beat the crap out of my sisters, then they beat the crap out of me with Meta Knight (hate him now). Went to church, then work, came back, unlocked the 64 veterans, Played through 15% of Subspace Emissary, then went to sleep.

Went to school monday, came back and went as far as I could on SE, 40%, and [spoil]unlocked Lucario with beating classic on hard, and intense(not really), thereby getting all the target test and beating them with Falco[/spoil].
Tuesday, went to 40% SE, went to my friend's hous, kicked his butt, and came back.
Overall, all the characters are balanced, except for Pit and Meta Knight, and it's fun.

Sounds like you've been having a good time with Brawl so far, Tony.

I just have to say that Sonic is the best freaking fighter ever.

Also, regarding secret stuff:

[spoil]I've unlocked 33 of the characters, with only Jigglypuff and Wolf left to go. Lucario, R.O.B and Sonic are all awesome characters. As I said before, Sonic beats all in my book.[/spoil]

[spoil]Falco, because of his aerila meteor smash, jump capability, and coolness.
Sonic, speedy, cool, great aerials, different attacks, and really cool Homing attack for Sudden Death.
R.O.B., He might be slow, but he can kill, and fly. And his Final Smash is cool too.
Toon Link, he's different from Link by a little, faster down Aerial, larger jump, faster, and can Wall Jump, although he looks like the mascots with realistic clothing, but a simple, drawed on head.

And Kirby. His Down Grab is back, and he's just cool.

Not me anymore, till I get my Wii fixed. You know what, I think Nintendo extended the release date so if the Wii broke down, all the loyal fans who got Wii the first day and registered it to get 15 month warranty, wiill have already lost their warranty. like me. $82.50 plus tax, man, I was hoping to save up for a new TV with that money. And I'll lose all my memory. I'm beginning to think its not worth it. But it still is for Brawl.
