This is seriously my most anticipated movie for 09! Dude, I CANNOT wait for this film! I'm going to buy out the freaking theater that it shows in (Maybe that's a little too ambitious LOL)!
So, anyone else been waiting for this movie?

In all honesty, I had no idea this film was coming out/had come out.

I've seen Miyazaki's works before and they are amazing (Ghibli are awesome too). So I'll be sure to give this a check.

We've just recieved a report that a Ponyo poster has been spotted!

Looks good, will be catching this when it comes out.

But this weekend it's trekkie time.

Finally got to see this movie and LOVED IT. I didn't expect the humor in it lol. The dubbed voices were pretty awesome too, I mean, who's better at being awesome then Liam Neeson? NO ONE I tell you.

I caught it with a friend last Thursday, and was rather surprised: it was much better than I was expecting (note: I knew absolutely nothing about the movie before watching it, other than my friends telling me how adorable Ponyo is. And they were correct). I would love to see it in the theater again before they stop showing.

I'm kinda on the fence about the dubbing; aside from one or two characters, Disney's casting for the Ghibli movies has seemed kind of weak, like BIG HOLLYWOOD ACTOR doesn't mean OMG GREAT VOICE WORK. Two children were great (Neeson was alright), but most of the other felt kind of flat. I had the same issue with all the other Ghibli movies I've seen (three or four); the two stars are great, others not so much.

But everyone should go see Ponyo. It's delightful.

I never caught it when it was in the theaters. I did get a movie poster for it, though, since my gf works at a movie theater. I'll get it on DVD when it comes out. I love Ghibli movies!!
