One Duck's Opinion Forums

Okay, before you get going here, make yourself familiar with the rules.

1: No sexist, racist or homophobic remarks! That means no talking bad about the opposite gender, no insulting other races and no putting down the gay community.

2: No Spamming! Please do not advertise other sites, forums or blogs. If you're linking to a site, forum or blog, it must be related to the subject at hand, or for the purpose of beginning a discussion (Eg: Linking to a news story in hopes of talking about it with fellow members).

3: No excessive swearing! Never under any circumstances should anyone say words such as fuck, *BLEEP*, or anything of the sort. Minor expletives such as ass or crap are allowed, as long as they're being said in a disappointed or angry manner, and not at someone (Eg: "Shut up, ass!").

4: Don't flood the topics or forums! If you post something and then realize you want to add something to it, edit your post instead of making a new one. There's no need to post two or more times in a row. Also, do not make the same thread in separate forums just to get attention. One thread will suffice, thank you. And please make sure a similar thread hasn't already been made!

5: No insulting the forums or the blog! If you don't like it here, fine. Leave. No need to make a scene.

6: No posting of sexually explicit or offensive images! This is a "T for Teens" forum, okay? Not an "M for Mature" or "AO for Adults Only".

7: Do not link to any offensive or sexually explicit sites! Same reasons as above, people. No linking to porn or anything of the sort.

8: No "flaming" the other consoles or companies! You wanna talk smack? Kindly do so in the Console Wars section.

9: The Signature Rules. For signatures, no signature can be over 200 bits tall and 600 bits in width. (Subject to change if seen fit.)

10: No spoilers! Please do not post any spoilers for video games, movies or books! If you must do so, please use a spoiler tag*. If you are starting a thread, please notify readers of spoilers in the thread title.

* A spoiler tag looks like this: [spoil]This is a spoiler[/spoil] To use a spoiler, highlight the required text and select the "Spoiler" button from the post screen (It is in between the "Quote" and "Insert URL" buttons above the text box.).

Breaking any of the above rules will result in post/thread deletion. Repeated offenses may result in bans.

Basic Guidelines

The following are not necessarily rules, but guidelines. Please make sure to take these into consideration when using the forums.

Please, speak in English. No talking in 1337, okay? Also, try to use proper punctuation. And no having private conversations in a different language. Don't start a thread speaking in Spanish or anything like that. This is an English forum, so please speak in a language everyone understands.

Exceptions to the above will be made in the event of people with broken English or a poor understanding of the language.

Be nice to everyone else. No starting arguments or insulting other members. I don't want to see any fighting, okay?
