Most wanted game.

Nintendo bringing the first one to the US Virtual Console was (almost literally) a dream come true. I first read about it in Gamer's Republic magazine, but then it never came across the Pacific. I finally got a chance to play it; it was the first game since Chrono Trigger on the SNES to actually put me into a state of awe (stage where you're fighting an air force of sorts (Stage 4, maybe?)). A sequel being made has me all kinds of excited.

Seriously, when I watched the few seconds of S&P2 footage in the montage video this morning, my eyes got watery.

I got goosebumps as well. Nintendo really went above and beyond. Punch out AND Sin and Punishment? I really look forward to what's on the horizon, especially since Sin and Punishment is perfect for the Wii.

Punch-out was obvious. But this?! This totally blind-sided me. When I first read about it, it was in one of those summary things. And I read over it... then stopped... read it again and my jaw dropped to the floor.

It's going to be amazing.

In a way, the game's existence was hinted. The original on VC, the Nintendo Power interview hinting at a sequel, and the assist trophy in Brawl. Either way, it's still coming and it's going to be amazing.

I would've named a bunch of other stuff being announced before I got to a new Sin & Punishment. I seriously did not expect S&P2 to be officially confirmed.

It really came out of nowhere. This should tide me over till Star Fox Wii, so I'm really excited.

Yea, I'm looking forward to anything else Nintendo is planning. Like that Pikmin game that was confirmed to be in the works.
