Today might go down as the biggest video game website debacle in the history of the internet.

One of the finest opinionated gaming sites on the web has been completely destroyed from the inside out.

1up was bought by another website, UGO.com, and UGO started laying off people left and right.

Also, EGM is closing and it seems that the 1up podcasts will likely stop.
