What additions could be made to the next-generation Wii's...

"It seems that, ever since day one, people have been speculation about the next Wii. From assuming it'll be stronger than two Playstation 3s to guessing that it will be launching far before the competitors, there's no limit to the chatter... Except for maybe in one category. While people endlessly go on and on about the possibilities of the hardware, almost nobody stops and wonders about the controller. The Wii remote is an amazing piece of technology, but there's still many ways for it to improve, and I doubt Nintendo is just going to ignore these possibilities."

I'm fine with features, but I guess I would change the material the system and controllers were made with to something that doesn't scratch easilly, much like the DSi. I think making the batteries rechargeable (having an AC adapter) would also be brilliant. At this point it's more essential than the then-problematic storage solution.

Rechargeable batteries would be good.

And I almost totally forgot the Wii Remote itself has it's own memory, there's potential there for a number of things with expanded memory but I don't think it's that high up on the priority list.

A new wiimote with motion plus built in almost seems inevitable to me. I'm predicting we'll see it before this year ends.
