Smash Bros. Brawl DS

Wouldn't that just be so totally awesome? I can see it now...features would include:

-Touch screen makes for easy stage building
-Optional touch-screen play-style(Think Phantom Hourglass, tap for standard attack, swipe for special attacks, swipe up for jump...)
-Better online stage system(If you download a random stage, you can rate it and eventually there will be a list of top-rated stages, most-played-on stages, and Nintendo's-picks stages)
-Better online picture/replay system(Same as above)
-Online tournament mode(Log on at certain times(posted on some Nintendo website) to take part in online tournaments)
-Probably a smaller roster of characters and stages(favorites to be determined by online poll)
-Cool new items that make use of the DSi mic and camera(Item that does more damage and has more range, the more you blow into the mic)

Ya, so those are my thoughts, anyone else have any ideas?

The prospect of a Smash Bros. DS game has always intrigued me. The DS could definitely handle it. It'd also be awesome if it was connectible to the Wii version so you can play against someone on the Wii through the DS version. :D

Ya, but then you would have to add the entire Brawl roster of characters and that would take up a lot of space...maybe when your playing against someone with the DS version then you have a limeted charcter selection.

I like the idea, but reading some interviews, Sakurai doesn't sound interested in bringing the series portable.

I really don't think it would work well.

If you use the touch screen it would be awkward.

And, because the DS has no analog nub, it would be almost impossible to control your characters with the d-pad.

It wouldn't be impossible. I can play with the Wiimote on Brawl (but I prefer the other methods) and frankly I think the DS d-pad beats the Wiimotes d-pad hands down.

But yea, the chance of this happening is about 0.01%.

"So your sayin' I got a chance!"

First person to guess that quote gets...well...nothing, but I'll be impressed.

Yep, it's from Dumb and Dumber.

Lloyd talking to a girl:
"What are the odds of a guy like you and a girl like me gettin' together?"

"Like one in a billion."

"So your sayin' I got a chance!"

Although I prefer Bruce Almighty. :D

Just about anything Jim Carrey is a safe bet, really. Just sort of avoid Cable Guy...

Also avoid: The Number 23, Fun with Dick and Jane, The Majestic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and Batman Forever.

But, go watch: The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Man on the Moon, The Truman Show, Bruce Almighty, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who.

(Both The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are on my top 50 all time greatest movies list).

Personally, I disagree with The Number 23, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, but hey, we're all entitled to our own opinions.

Also, as for all the movies you recommended that I've seen, I agree entirely.

So we went from Smash Bros. to Jim Carrey movies? This place should have a slogan: "The only forum where Smash Bros. and Jim Carrey are discussed in the same topic."

As for Dumb and Dumber, it was okay. The 2003 prequel, on the other hand, made me die a little inside.

You really liked The Number 23?

Your the first person I've ever heard say that.

(actually I didn't hear you, but you get the point)

Oooooh, hey Duck can you add that line to the one-liners at the top of the blog?

Movies I've seen, in bold:
Also avoid: The Number 23, Fun with Dick and Jane, The Majestic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and Batman Forever.

....wow, 3/15, that's sad...

Oh yea, The Mask was good. He was awesome in Lemony Snicket too.

But my favourite film that he's in is still Bruce Almighty. :D

Btw, Evan Almighty sucks.

My rule: Never watch a sequel to Jim Carrey movie if Jim Carrey isn't in it. I need name only one movie to prove my point: Son of the Mask.

PS: I'm typing this message from a free waiting room computer downtown. I love technology! I hate the massive amounts of typos this steel keyboard is yielding, though.
