The Last Game You Beat

Postby PsychoDuck on Sun Mar 02, 2008 4:24 am

What's the last game you beat? Not necessarily 100%, but the main storyline. Hey, if you get 100%, though, feel free to brag here :D

Anywho, I just beat Half-Life 2 last night.

...for the second time :D

Round three: GO!

I think the last game I beat was... MoH: H2 - yes, I got through the ridiculous storyline. The last part, the base, is insanely hard.

I only bothered like.. two missions?

How long is it, anyway? If it's short enough, I suppose I could play some of it tonight.. Single player just feels so boring. :<

Well, I started off on the medium difficulty (no idea what it was called) and advanced through that. Some bits are insanely hard, and the mortar bits kinda suck IMO. And yet some bits are really easy, cos the AI sucks. Compared to playing multiplayer, singleplayer isn't really anything to speak off, I just wanted to see if I could make my way through it. I can't remember how long it took me to do the whole campaign but it isn't too long. 5/6 hours, at most.

I just beat the breath of fresh air that is Portal!!!! :D :D :D my cousin witnessed me beat it and he and I were busting out laughing from the things GLaDOS was saying as we held her morality core we literally walked around the room just listening what she would say!!!  Our personal favs were: "I think that thing has sewage waste inside, why don't you just rub it all over your face?" and " y'know if you like holding that thing so much, why don't you jsut marry it?"   I simply LOVED that game, but unfortunately, it was just rented, and I must bring it back Tuesday  I may just buy it for Portal it self in a few weeks, then beat it again! (Sorry I dont like half-life games in it and team fortress 2 wasn't that great...fun though so that would be a bonus... :D Whoa Sorry for the ranting on here!!! anyway yea I beat Portal, the BEST game Ive played since EVER! :P

Well, I cant say that I was really interested in it....if I DO buy it I will most likely play it more and gain a better opinion of it.....possibly.... :) however I ONLY rented the orange box for Portal, I couldn't care less what else was in it, so I really didnt play a fair enough of any other games this past week was portal filled and only this weekend did I try half life and TF2

At least wait until you get the Gravity Gun. You cannot judge before you experience it.

...does Minesweeper count?

But I finished Heavenly Sword a few weeks ago (might get around to dealing with ~30 second load times to finish the harder difficulty).

Hopefully I'll be able to mention Ar Tonelico in this thread as "completed" soon. (I keep thinking saying I'm going to finish it will get me to sit down and finish it... I just can't seem to sit down and finish it, despite the fantastic-ness it contains).

Minesweeper is awesome. I prefered Pinball though.

I think the next game I'm going to get it most probably Bully for the Wii or Destroy all Humans: BWU. Probably DAH: BWU though, since I liked the previous games.

I'm goig to have to say GH3 on medium, like last year. I can't get back to Zeck and Wiki, because I can't finish it and my sisters are hoging my Wii bacasuse my parents let them,. and all they do is suck at GH3, so I will get my wii back somehow, maybe I'll use the Parental Controls, so they can;t play T rated games, like SSBB, which will be the next game I beat.

I'll bring my Wiitar over and challenge them to a GH battle. And own them, and when I do my victory condition is that they have to allow you total control over the Wii. XD

Beat SSBB? You don't mean 100% right? :D

Yes, I mean 100% Subspace Emissary. THat is my goal, I'm currently at 45%, so I'm close (not).

As for your proposal, my parents wouldn't allow me. The Wii is technically mine, I paid the whole $250+tax. But, I have to share. When I go to college, I will take it wth me.

Last 100% completion is Half-Life 2 for the third time.

I've beaten The Subspace Emissary, too, but only at about 75%. I'll get back to you when I complete it.

I wonder who will be first to complete SSBB completely?

Like all stickers/trophies and whatnot.

It'll be hard, because for some trophies you need to beat classic on intense, and I know I'll not be able to do that. And I beat the SE last friday on 90%. All I can say, is that the cutscenes are amazing. i just don't want to go back to play it, I don't know why, but it doesn't attract me like other platformers. the enemies are bland, and it get repetitive. But its still fun, nonetheless.

I heard SEE wasn't that good.

Maybe for the next game (there definitely will be another Super Smash Bros! I just know it!) Shigi should help with that... or something.
