The Super Mario Galaxy 2 logo: Slapped together in a hurry?

Postby PsychoDuck on Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:46 pm

"When randomly taking a look at the above logo (I do that sometimes), I noticed something strange. You can't really make it out in the above image due to Blogger having a size limit for uploaded pictures, so I've posted below a narrower scope of the image, allowing its full-quality to be uploaded."

Just a little something I realized partway through writing "Nintendo's E3 2009 press conference: Recap, commentary and observations".

The 2 at the bottom does look pretty awkward, but then again, the Mario Galaxy logo by itself is pretty damn infamous. It's nothing to worry about. I buy games for what's in the disk, not what's typed on the disk.

I'm in no way questioning my purchase due to this. I just thought it was an interesting little oddity.

Maybe it should be called:

"MOAR SUPER MARIO GALAXY"

I'd buy it.

I'm waiting for Nintendo to slap a star/sparkle on the 2 so we can get: "UR MR GAY 2!"

I don't see problem with it. NES got SMB, SMB2, SMB3. SNES SMW and SMW2? So why not SMG and SMG2? I kinda like how a certain system have games named in a certain way.

That's true although I think it's highly possible Nintendo are going to slap a subtitle to the end of it.

Sorta like SMW2: Yoshi's Island.
