Your Latest Gaming Purchase

Postby PsychoDuck on Mon Jan 14, 2008 5:37 am

In this thread, just post what your latest gaming purchase was. Consoles, games, peripherals, whatever.

For me, it's Sonic and the Secret Rings and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. $20 each, BRAND NEW at my local Rogers Video.

I believe my latest game was GH3 for the Wii. I've almost finished HARD Career! It's frickin hard... stuck on the final tier...

I can't remember what my last DS game was - I think it was LoZ:PH - but my Wii's been getting more loving than my DS.

Super Mario Galaxy last November. Also, several VC-games, I believe the latest is Paper Mario.

I've been waiting my Phantom Hourglass and Link's crossbow training for 2 weeks now, that stupid store won't send them :shifty:

Actually now that I think about it I bought Pokemon Snap not long ago.

Phantom Hourglass is amazing, and I was thinking of picking up Link's Crossbow Training soon. Unless something better comes out in the foreseeable future.

SatSR was awesome, but all trial and error might get on your nerves. GH3, can't beat it on hard, itd just too hard. My latest game was OoT this morning, and it is awesome. With my NP map from about 6 months ago has been a miracle, I will beat it by next week.

I picked up Sonic 3 and Super Mario World via the VC not long ago. Brings back memories...

GH3 on hard. I'm slowly getting there, I can pretty much make through Cliffs of Dover... so close... so damn close...

Well I bought Galaxy and then say Excite truck really cheap so I got that too a few weeks ago (great mindless fun game!)

I can't even remember my last DS game. :O

Oh, and I borrowed GHIII from a friend. Only played easy and a bit of medium... I'm hopeless really. But still, fun game again.

I'm still stuck on the last tier of songs on GH3... ¬¬

I can do cliffs of Dover but everything else is just: 'FAIL!'
or 'YOU FAIL!' or 'YOU SUCK!' being thrown at me. The difficulty ranks up loads.

What difficulty? I can beat it on Easy and starting on medium, but hard and expert look insane!!!

I'm playing on hard. Not bad for being the first GH game I've played.

By the way, if you thought the blue button throws you off just wait until you have to hit the orange button. The last tier is insane.

I can do TTFAF on medium. :D But TTFAF on hard or expert is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE.

Yea, to start with that blue button screwed me up. But now I am used to it. I don't want to add strain to my fingers by trying that orange one... :(:(

Let me tell you, after playing Knights of Cydonia on hard I had to rest my strum arm. It gets so insane.

Hey, FPS' and Rhythm games are not so different.

You need some fast-twitch muscles and you have to throw the beat down on dudes/aliens/songs. I rawk at FPS' too. :D
And also Mario Strikers Charged, when that first came out here in the first week I was ranked 4th in the leaderboards. That's an amazing achievement!
